Growing carrots in the kitchen garden is almost mandatory. They are easy to grow and the taste is delicious.

If you save the roots and plant them again next year, they will bolt and flower for the benefit of the insects. Here you see a hoverfly carefully pollinating the carrot flowers, ensuring our harvest of homegrown carrot seeds.
